I was obsessed with Sphinxes for a good 7 years before I was able to get my own. The first time I remember the breed coming onto my radar was in college. I was scrolling through the “Post Secret” app & saw the cutest Sphynx sitting in a Kroger bag. The post was titled “I paid 2000 dollars for this cat & all he wants to do is sit in plastic bags.” I found that hilarious and charming. From that moment on I knew I just had to have one in my life.
Flash forward 7 years later & I was blessed with my cat Kinoko (Nakey Noki). The moment I picked him up at the airport he instantly imprinted on me. It was truly love at first sight. Over the last 4 years our bond has only grown. He is my muse, my best friend, and my sunshine. He loves Churu treats, playing chase, and climbing onto high surfaces. He has never met a stranger and excitedly greets all visitors to our house at the door. His signature color is pink, and he enjoys modeling his outfits from CatneyDogney, GroovyOoze, and NudesWithaTude. Next weekend, we are bringing home a baby brother sphynx for him. It will be so good for Noki to have a playmate and we cannot wait to watch their brotherly bond form.
