Oh, Meldor. Meldor is my sphynx’s name. She’s not just a cat, but my entire world. She’s my baby! Sphynx are the best animal in the world, totally not being biased or anything! But in all seriousness, my sweet girl came into my life just about 6 years ago. She turned six on January 11th. Meldor came into my life when I needed her more than she needed me. As I still do. This tiny little 1lb kitten depended on me to take care of her, not knowing she was going to be the one who “takes care” of me. She’s been my rock when times are hard and my sunshine when days are dark. She’s a light that never stops shinning. 
I was 19 when I adopted her so it’s kind of like I grew up to be the woman I am today, because of her. Putting her needs before myself. Literally, like a “human” child. She saw my college self and lived at college with me. She went to my sporting events and cheered me on. She even went to classes with me. Not only did my colleagues and teammates adore her, but my professors did, too. My professors would ask to hold her while they taught classes.
Now, being a successful 25-year-old, I’m giving her that dream place I promised to her that we will live. When I adopted her I told her she will have the best life, and that promise was/ will never be broken.
Meldor is all about fashion. She loves her clothes, just like her momma. And let me tell you, she might even have more clothes than me! She loves to shop and enjoys getting her “cattuccino” from Starbucks before. Meldor, LOVES target and always comes home with a new toy (usually a toy she’ll drag into my room in the middle of the night just to play with). She adores picking out her “lavender” bath bomb from Lush and getting into clean PJs before bed. Other than shopping she loves hiking, exploring new lands, maybe dipping her little toe beans into the water then coming home to warm snuggles while I massage and kiss her head. She enjoys watching “cat tv” (birds chirping and lions roaring) and listening to calming music. She even goes to church with me on Sundays! She’s a true girly girl full of spunk, adventurous, athletic, and intelligent. She’s the purrfect pet!
Sphynx are not just cats. Sphynx are babies that will love you unconditionally. You’ll be greeted by your baby the minute you open your door, most likely demanding you to feed them treats, LOL! They’re hilarious, free-spirited, love to explore, and are always down for a good cuddle. There is never a dull moment with a sphynx in your life. Not only will your life end up changing in the best way possible if you plan on bringing a sphynx home, but your (future) sphynx will become your entire world.
